Availability and timing depends on the seasons and how well the yearlings have grown out.

Lamb is also available at various times of year.

We take orders for a whole or side of beef at a fixed price per kilogram of dressed weight. Orders for lamb are for a whole only also at a fixed price per kilogram of dressed weight.

Pricing is based on input and processing costs and will always be the best possible price we can manage. POA

Pricing includes processing at a local abattoir, cut up of your choice and packed according to your request.
​
We ask for a $500 deposit with your beef order or $100 for your lamb order, then once processed we confirm the dressed weight and the final cost.
The local Abattoirs will hang the meat for 10 - 14 days for optimal tenderness and flavour. They prepare your meat to you liking and pack your meat in portions of your choice. They offer silverside and the option of some of your beef mince being made into sausages.

Sausages are at an extra cost and can be ordered at the time your cut up options are confirmed.

You can order your preferences including oxtail, tongue, kidney etc, soup bones, dog bones and even some fat for rendering at home.

When your order and deposit are received, we send you a cut up sheet and approximately, one week later your prime beef, or spring lamb is available for collection (or some local delivery can be arranged).

Dressed weights do vary depending on the timing of processing. We can let you know when ordering what to expect.

As a guide beef is 220 - 280 kg for whole and lamb is up to 30 kg.

Sides of beef are half this (at no extra cost). When ordering a side please be aware that the offal, tongue and tail may not be available.

We will advertise via facebook, local newspaper and local noticeboards when processing is about to begin but we will let regular customers know in advance. if you would like to be advised of processing dates in advance please contact us at any time to go on our orders list.
